CANCER Prevention is EASIER Than You Think!
With November ending, men growing beards and mustaches to help raise money and bring awareness to men's health and cancer has as well. Have we learned anything? Did all the awareness and money go to useful things like prevention or effective, life improving treatments? Will we hear about any new breakthroughs or strides forward in cancer treatment and prevention. The answer is a sad probably not. And the reason is as follows...
Cancer is NOT specific. Cancer has a couple very common internal environment, tissue level changes that must happen in order for cancer cells to thrive. Researchers in Japan have been studying these factors for years. Cancer must have an environment of low oxygen or hypoxia, low nutrients and nutrition and high acid or acidosis. That is right, 3 things must be part of the local internal body environment for cancer cells to start to grow. After that cancer has one primary fuel source. SUGAR. So what does this mean?
CANCER PREVENTION
Cancer prevention in this country and in our state of economy is marketing. If you read the value propositions and follow the money of major cancer awareness projects, very little money is being put into prevention and effective treatments. Most of the money from the millions of dollars is going to drug treatments and experiments, which there effectiveness is still yet to be defined. Chemotherapy is a go to for almost all cancers, and yet has only been proven effective in a very few. On the other hand, cancer prevention is quite simple. It is NOT finding it early and receiving the latest drugs. It is living a healthy lifestyle with these strategies listed below to prevent cancer in the first place.
INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT
The internal environment must be optimal, not only for daily function, but also for cancer prevention. JAMA (The Journal of the American Medical Association) found years ago that plant nutrients decrease the likelihood of cancer transmission to the next phase. Yes, plants help prevent progression of cancer. Plant nutrients also alkalize the body and provide the right nutrients to buffer acidity. By buffering acidity your tissue oxygen saturation will improve also, as acid/base balance plays a large role in oxygen tissue saturation. Taking omega 3s and other vessel supportive nutrients can further this benefit as can a multivitamin and mineral by promoting nutrient balances. Studies have shown, in today's culture we need more nutrients than ever in history due to the toxicity exposure and depleted food supply experienced in modern day living. This means if you aren't taking basic nutrients and eating a plant based diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, you are not preventing cancer.
The second part of this equation is blood sugar balance. We know that cancer eats sugar exclusively. One way to tackle cancer is to follow a Ketogenic Diet, which is a diet that has almost no sugar and is very high fat. Starve the cancer cells by not giving them sugar, and guess what? They die. In a preventative sense, maintaining a healthy body weight, limiting sugar and supporting a balanced blood sugar lifestyle is very solid strategy to help prevent cancer.
The US and many other parts of the World have a major fat and diabetes problem. People are getting heavier and diabetic report numbers continue to climb higher and higher. Diabetes and excess fat are both major contributors to cancer. This information needs to be the focus and real life strategies should be the focus. Sadly they aren't.
CONCLUSION
I hope that reading this you begin your lifestyle journey to cancer prevention. It can be as simple as taking a quality multivitamin, omega 3s, and extra plant nutrients both in supplement form and by eating a diet high in organic fruits and vegetables. That will benefit you and your family more long term and also ensure you are functioning at your best.
